BIO

Raphael Olivier is a composer, producer, and artist, whose published catalog of 300+ tracks has generated more than 2 billion views and 15 million streams worldwide.

Born in Paris to a musical family, Raphael begins playing cello at age three, and enters professional performance at age eight, appearing with European classical ensembles across Italy (Torino Classical Music Festival), England (Trinity College of London), and France (Lyon Symphony Hall.)

Educated between Europe and the United States, Raphael performs extensively during his time at the Lycée Français de Chicago (Art Institute, Lincoln HallSymphony Center) before returning to France to study jazz and film scoring at the Paris National Superior Conservatory. During that time, he records a debut project at the legendary Studio Davout, and goes on a European tour (Paris Philharmonic, Brussels Botanique), playing alongside the likes of Etienne Daho, Yael Naim, and the National Jazz Orchestra.

Now based in Los Angeles, Raphael collaborates on a wide range of musical and literary projects. His debut novel “La Mélodie d’Oklahoma” (Paris FoRTE prize winner) is scheduled for publication in 2026. After a year-long residency at Rinzai-Ji Zen Buddhist Temple, following Leonard Cohen’s footsteps, his work explores the meeting point between monastic introspection and the vitality of musical storytelling.
